These terms govern your access to and use of Howelx website, account, and services.
Howelx is a housing support platform and service coordinator, not the property owner or the legal representative for rental contract execution.
1.1. Service scope
- Howelx provides curated housing listings and relocation support services such as on-site verification, airport pickup, and first-week setup support.
- Listing data may come from multiple sources and is displayed according to internal trust and review status.
- Howelx does not guarantee that every listing remains available at all times.
2.2. Account and user responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information and remain responsible for all activities under your account.
- You may not use the platform for fraud, impersonation, illegal content, or infringement of third-party rights.
- Howelx may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3.3. Service orders, pricing, and payment
- Service pricing is published and may change by operating period or market conditions.
- For the current MVP stage, payments are processed through manual verification workflows by the Howelx operations team.
- For rental transactions, deposits and rent are generally transferred directly between student and landlord; Howelx supports the process and does not hold funds unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4. Content and intellectual property
- Platform content (brand assets, UX structure, and materials) belongs to Howelx or its lawful licensors.
- You may not copy, commercially exploit, or redistribute content without prior written permission.
- Third-party data sources are handled in compliance with their respective licensing terms.
5.5. Limitation of liability
- Howelx applies reasonable efforts to verify and refresh information but cannot eliminate all third-party and market risks.
- Howelx is not liable for losses caused by rental decisions, contract signing, or financial transactions conducted directly between users and third parties beyond Howelx reasonable control.
6.6. Termination, updates, and governing principles
- Howelx may update these terms to meet legal and operational requirements; updated terms are effective once published.
- Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- Disputes should be handled through good-faith negotiation first before escalation to competent authorities.
